We understand looking after someone requires enormous amounts of dedication, commitment, and effort that there will be times where you need to take time away for appointments, events, holidays, so we offer residential short term accommodation and day options so family members and carers can have that break they need.
Advanced abilities is a small privately run home that works closely with families offering 24 hour care and day options. We pride ourselves on taking no shortcuts when it comes to personal care such as toileting, feeding, lifting, showering, dressing, and the management of medications.
We run daily activities personalised to our occupants which may include sensory games, exercises, cooking classes, beauty therapy, arts and crafts, learning activities and communication exercises.
